As part of Lent, 3H have been exploring following “40 Acts” which is a challenge to carry out acts of generosity throughout Lent built around a different theme each week.

Last week, we decided a generous thing to do was to share a skill. A skill some of us had and some of us wanted to learn was to tie our shoelaces. We looked together and how to tie and then we got to practicing. The class worked in small groups to teach other children how to do this. They were wonderfully encouraging and a few children even managed to learn in the short session.

I hope this act of generosity prompts others and that the children feel motivated to continue to challenge themselves and help others.
