Synagogue trip

3H had a lovely time exploring a synagogue as part of their Judaism topic. They were very impressed with the knowledge and questions that 3H had!

They demonstrated what part of a Jewish wedding ceremony might be like
They explored the small synagogue and discussed the meaning of the windows
Here they got to see a Torah scroll. They asked brilliant questions about how the scroll was made.
They explained why they kept the scrolls in a certain way
They learnt about the shabbat meal on Friday nights
They were able to draw on their learning about the story of Moses to help their understanding
